We booked a king room. After the desk agent checked us in and had us sign off, she then informed us that king rooms were sold out and we’d have 2 queens. It was our anniversary so obviously we wanted the king room we booked. She then told us it would be an upgrade charge to put us in a pet room that had a king. She ended up waiving the charge but the pet room basically smelled like a pet store, heavy with bleach and cleaners. We checked in right at 4 when told so our reservation shouldn’t have been given to someone else. Unfortunate. The steak house was great, though!
